Marketing automation
Remove the manual handoffs
Three flow categories.
Built where the manual work currently lives.
Lead routing.
New lead lands → enriched → scored → assigned → notified. No more leads sitting in inboxes for two days before anyone owns them.
Nurture sequences.
Email and SMS sequences triggered by behaviour, not by sales-rep memory. Branching logic for engaged vs. cold. Exit conditions when leads convert.
Reporting flows.
Weekly performance reports auto-generated from your stack and delivered before Monday's meeting. No more "let me put together the numbers" delays.
The stack.
n8n — primary automation platform. Self-hosted (NZ or AU region) for sensitive data, or cloud where appropriate. More flexible than Zapier, owns the workflow.
Zapier — for simpler flows or where n8n doesn't have a native integration.
HubSpot workflows — for CRM-native automation. Used when the logic should live inside HubSpot rather than upstream.
Make (formerly Integromat) — alternative to n8n where client preference or specific integrations dictate.
Where this lives in the engagement.
Foundation — basic CRM access and pipeline setup in HubSpot, plus up to 3 email nurture flows. Light automation, single owner.
Growth — marketing automation builds in HubSpot or n8n included in the retainer. Typically 5-10 active flows covering lead routing, nurture, and reporting.
Scale — Business Process Automation (BPA) is the headline addition. Full lead-lifecycle flows, nurture sequences, reporting automation, and cross-system integrations the audit identifies as bottlenecks. Included in the monthly retainer.
Compound — custom BPA architecture, dedicated strategist, and custom dashboards in your Trailblazer Predictive client portal. Multi-system integration and board-level reporting automation scoped per engagement.
One-off BPA setups for non-retainer clients are listed on the Capabilities page.
What we won't automate.
Sales conversations. Discovery calls. Account management. The decisions that need a human in the loop stay in the loop. We automate the handoffs and the reporting; we don't automate the relationship.
What you keep.
Every automation we build is yours. The flows live in your n8n / Zapier / HubSpot account, not ours. The documentation is yours. If you end the engagement, the flows keep running. We don't hold automation hostage.
Start with the audit.
The audit identifies which manual handoffs to automate first.
